What is Hospice?

Hospice helps people who are terminally ill live comfortably.

Provide for the "whole person". Physically, emotionally, social & spiritual

Hospice is not only for people who have cancer.

Services are provided in the comfort of the patients residence.

The focus is on comfort, not on curing an illness.

Depending on your terminal illness and related conditions, the plan of care your Heartfelt Harmony team creates can include any of the following services: 

  • Physician services

  • Skilled Nursing Care

  • Medical equipment

  • Prescription medications

  • Physical and occupational therapy (for comfort purpose only)

  • Speech language pathology services (case by case)

  • ​​​Hospice Aide

  • Social Worker services

  • Dietary counseling

  • Grief and loss counseling for you and your family

  • Short term inpatient care (for pain and symptom management)

  • Short term respite care

Any other services needed to manage your terminal illness and related conditions, as recommended by your Heartfelt Harmony team.
